Autumn is setting in - our glorious summer is over.
Down to business

SHELL:
Share price at the time of writing 3605 showing a 34% rise over the past year.
Second-quarter revenue was up 45% to $94.7bn with strong growth seen in all divisions.
Adjusted earnings increased 128% to $9.8bn ($8.8bn expected) helped by strong pricing, efficiency savings and strong results from trading and optimisation.
Free cash flow nearly trebled to $17.5bn largely through operational performance but also reduced capital spending. Net debt fell $10.8bn from the previous quarter to $41.8bn.
Shell completed its $16.5 billion acquisition of Canada's ARC Resources, adding major assets in the Montney basin. This deal adds roughly 370,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day and aims to push production growth to ~4% annually through 2030
This all adds up to a positive HOLD position with a share price target for the year ahead 3800.
The China Dolls are showing a 28% profit on shell. We are holding.
COSTAIN: Costain has been lined up for a £120m design-and-build contract to upgrade South Kensington tube station.
The share price at the time of writing is 256 - up 63% this year to date and 93% over the past 12 month period.
The China Dolls are showing an amazing 178% increase on their investment since investing in Costain.
It is rated as a strong buy - although a further strong rise in the share price is unlikely in the near future with a 12 month target of 275 beiing projected.
We are holding.
CRODA:
Croda is one of our first share investments back in 2000.
We've followed this company's UPS and DOWNS but have remained loyal.
The share price at the time of writing is 3236 with a potential of a modest rise to3688
JPMorgan recently upgraded Croda to an Overweight rating—its first positive stance on the stock since August 2018—pointing to cost optimization potential and upside in the pharmaceutical pipeline.
We have a sentimental attatchment to this company! So we are holding.
FEVERTREE:
As many of you are aware, we bought into Fevertree just after it floated.
The float price was 134 and we bought in at 260.
Over the next few years the share price increased dramatically to an all time high of 4120 in Septmeber 2018. Falling back steadily to todays price of 831 -
The China Dolls sold a major portion of their holding at a price of around 2400.
There is now so much competition for "mixers" with companies following in Fevertree's footsteps, it is doubtful if the share price will reach its former glory.
But we are still showing a healthy profit of 63% - so we will be holding.
RASPBERRY Pi
Has a consensus "Buy" outlook from analysts, driven by surging AI-related demand, record-breaking financial results, and a raised full-year profit.
Revenue jumped 90% year-on-year to $256.9 million, with net income surging 217% to $17.1 million
The share price has been quite volatile over the past year
February -265
June 1052
September 775
But still showing a 77% rise over the past year.
Raspberry Pi is a relatively new addition to our portfolio.
We are definitely holding on to this one!
SEPTEMBER DECISIONS:
THE PROPERTY FRANCHISE GROUP:
The decison was made to sell all of our investment in this company. It had been showing a weakness in its share price recently - maybe due to the volatility of the current rental market and general housing situation.
With the proceeds of the sale of PFG and our cash holdiing: we invested further shares in both BHP and Rolls Royce.
